Two Months to the 2025 USEA AEC at Galway Downs

The United States Eventing Association acknowledges that many of the lands upon which we ride, compete, and train are lands that in the past have been worked or stewarded by enslaved people, indigenous groups, indentured laborers, and others from whom land was taken or who performed coerced labor. We recognize the losses of those people and the fact that many descendants remain in our communities today. We honor those individuals, recognize their loss, and respect these places that are integral to the continuation of our sport.

A non-profit organization promoting eventing and offering training, competition, and education opportunities for all levels of riders.

By assisting and educating competitors, event organizers, and officials; maintaining responsible safety standards; and registering qualified competitions and clinics, the USEA offers strong and continuous training opportunities for an ever-expanding field of world-class competitors.

Eventing is best described as an equestrian triathlon. The sport originated as a cavalry test and is comprised of three phases: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Eventing tests horse and rider pairs more completely than any other.
